Tenzin,
Are you talking about just the essay (chapter 4)? If so, you can write in your notebook or on loose leaf. You are not separating each paragraph per paper...it should all be together, like Naomi's example. Your essay will end up being anywhere from 2-3 pages (if writing by hand). You also have the option to type your essay if you prefer.

Hi Sabirah,
Have you decided to change your topic? I thought you had already selected solid topic today. What do you currently have written under Chapter 4 on your Informational Book Structure sheet?

What I was going to talk about was the effect from the atomic bomb but I didn't have facts so now I have to think about another one

Tenzin,
Yes, eventually we will be separating the chapters on different paper...just like Naomi's example.
Sabirah,
I I think that's a really good topic! It's ok that you don't have any facts yet...that's what research is all about! So if you want to write an essay about the effects of the atomic bomb...simply do a search for that: "How did the atomic bomb effect the people of Japan?", "What were the effects of the atomic bomb?", "How did the atomic bomb effect society?" You can search different types of effects, like "physical effects," "mental/emotional effects," and "political/societal effects." Try using each of these types of effects in your searches about the atomic bomb to see if you can't come up with a variety of effects to support your essay.
Let me know how it goes!

Great Sabirah! Just make sure you have 3 strong and different reasons to support why Japan surrendered. Good luck!

Tenzin, for the homework you may complete the 5 paragraph essay in your preferred format. So you like doing each paragraph on separate pages, feel free to do that or you can do it all together. It's up to you.
With all of the research you're doing on your subtopic this year, you're going to be so advanced once you get into the 5th where your class will study the Holocaust in depth! Good research!
